Standing beside oneself

The Self Love mini-retreat was created as a Valentine’s space for returning to oneself with softness. The theme was not self-love as a slogan, but as practice: learning to stand beside oneself, listen, modify, decline, choose and rest.

In the same thread, Queer Presence holds particular care for inclusion, belonging and the possibility of practicing without needing to reduce oneself. Body, consent and freedom of rhythm are central.

The flow

The Self Love format brought together conscious arrival, fluid and restorative yoga-dance, heart haiku, writing, self-massage, compassionate inner dialogue, Yoga Nidra and candle ritual.

The collaboration with Diversité 02 gave the container an important community dimension: creating a space where queer, different or questioning people can feel welcomed without having to explain or perform their presence.

What these spaces make possible

These workshops do not try to manufacture a perfect version of self-love. They open space to listen to what is present: fatigue, desire, limit, tenderness, resistance, need for rest or need for movement.

What remains is a practice of inner and relational consent: sense, choose, adjust and return to oneself without rushing.
