Embodied movement practice with Letitia Rose

A cross-cultural path

Letitia’s way of teaching is inseparable from her lived experience of migration, adoption, language, study, body practice and community.

Born in South Korea, adopted and raised in Australia, Letitia grew up with a particular sensitivity to belonging, identity, culture and the relationship we build with ourselves. She later lived and practiced between France and the Netherlands, with a yoga path also shaped by India, before making Quebec, Canada home.

She is now based in Chicoutimi/Saguenay, where she has built a life around practice, teaching and community. After arriving in the region, she completed ten months of full-time French study and continues to build a teaching voice that can meet people across language, culture and lived experience.

Since spring 2025, her local work has expanded through classes at Centre Bodhi, classes and series at Karma Yoga Saguenay, private sessions, mindfulness workshops, retreats, Sacred Energy Journeys, festivals and community collaborations.

As an adopted Australian expat who has lived abroad for several years and is now building a life in Quebec, Letitia understands belonging from the inside. This shapes her desire to create spaces where differences in language, culture, body, age, story and rhythm can be welcomed with respect, and where inclusion becomes a concrete part of how practice is guided.

Community, inclusion and belonging

Community is not decorative in Letitia’s work. It is part of the core vision: creating authentic connection, supporting belonging and contributing to a more alive yoga, health and wellbeing ecosystem locally and online, for students, clients, teachers and practitioners.

Letitia sees practice as a meaningful response to a time when many people are navigating loneliness, disconnection and individualization. Classes, workshops, retreats, private sessions, letters and online spaces can become places to breathe together, recognize one another and return to a more authentic sense of connection.

Her expat experience gives her a particular attention to inclusion. Belonging is not declared; it is built through concrete gestures, accessible language, options, real listening, respect for difference and a way of holding space where people can feel they have a place.

This vision connects her local presence in Chicoutimi/Saguenay with her online presence: making practice visible, accessible and easy to follow while keeping human depth at the center.

Current scope

This website presents wellbeing, yoga, meditation, body awareness and somatic support. The work does not replace medical, psychological or psychotherapeutic care.

Practice, not performance

Her work brings together yoga, meditation, breath, somatic exploration, intuitive movement, energy work and community practice.

The approach is gentle but clear: listen to the body, respect rhythm, recognize strengths, move with awareness and integrate practice into daily life.

Letitia can guide in French or English depending on the context, the group and the person in front of her. The English pages make the work understandable for bilingual and international visitors while keeping the same tone, care and clarity.

The common thread is embodied presence: learning to sense, breathe, move, clarify and choose from a place that is more connected to the body and to one’s real path.

What is felt in a space with Letitia

The space brings together the teacher, guide, practitioner, community-builder and someone who can hold sensitive work with seriousness.

Embodied presence

Practice begins in the body: breath, support, sensation, rhythm, real listening and inner clarity.
