More than a yoga style
Choosing a teacher is not only choosing between Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, meditation or intuitive movement. It is choosing the kind of space you want to enter.
A strong frame is often simple: the teacher explains the practice, offers options, respects consent, names the limits of the work and does not make the student feel wrong for needing adaptation.
The Letitia Rose frame
Letitia’s background brings together university studies in education, psychological sciences and social sciences, yoga training since 2018, a two-year mindfulness training with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, international experience and local practice in Chicoutimi/Saguenay.
The public language of the site stays intentionally careful: yoga, meditation and movement are presented as wellbeing, presence, integration and community practices. They do not replace medical care, psychological care or psychotherapy.
Questions before choosing
Helpful questions include:
- Does the teacher offer options without making them feel secondary?
- Is the language clear, grounded and respectful?
- Does the space allow yes, no, rest and modification?
- Is the practice framed honestly, without exaggerated promises?
- Do you feel invited to inhabit your own body rather than copy a shape?
A good fit often feels like more space, not more pressure.
